Our plan is to develop an emergency beacon so victims of natural disasters can always notify emergency services about their specific situation and needs.
For every sale from our regular GPS product lineup, we donate one beacon to the United Nations Disaster Relief fund. The BeSAFE beacons will be handed out by the UN in high-risk areas around the globe.

Natural disasters cause chaos and have catastrophic consequences for thousands of lives around the globe. Families lose their home, their belongings, livelyhoods and need help as quickly as possible. I’ve seen the devastating impact of the Haiti 2010 earthquake with my own eyes.
Now I want to make sure people in these situations get the right help when they need it the most, those critical first few days after a disaster. That is why I’m developing BeSAFE, an emergency beacon allowing people to send information to emergency services about the type of help they need most. In some areas a lack of food might be the biggest issue. In others, medical supplies might be depleted. With BeSAFE emergency services can act fast and get the right help where it needs to be saving hundreds of lives when it counts the most.
Our company has decades of experience in developing safety equipment and is a global leader in outdoor equipment. BeSAFE uses existing satellites for communication and can operate when other infrastructure is down.
For every regular outdoor GPS or emergency beacon sold, one BeSAFE beacon is donated to the United Nations Disaster Relief fund for distribution in high-risk areas around the globe. Join my effort in helping people in need and support us now!
Our solar powered beacon sends the current coordinates and specific help requests - such as the need for food, water, shelter and medical supplies - to the local emergency services by satellite.
The beacon also has a AM/FM radio and LED light for practical daily use.
Based on extensive research we developed a durable and easy to use beacon. It is capable to withstand excessive heat, sand and other wear and tear in rough terrain.
